Dr. Youngsam Chun Presents at the 2026 The Responsible AI Forum (TRAIF)
On May 19th, 2026, Generative AI, LLMs and Societal Value Alignment track travel grant winner Dr. Youngsam Chun presented at the 2026 The Responsible AI Forum (TRAIF) held at Amerikahaus in Munich. During the Philosophical and Technical Foundations of Value Alignment session, Dr. Chun presented: "MORAL-GRAPH: A Geometric and Graph-based Framework for Human-LLM Value Alignment".
AIRIS: Mechanism-Informed Multimodal Generative AI for Causal and Dynamical Modelling in Biomedical Research
The Institute is proud to announce the launch of the AIRIS project (Mechanism-Informed Multimodal Generative AI for Causal and Dynamical Modelling in Biomedical Research), funded by the EU Horizon programme (Project No. 101289094), with total budget of €16.9 million, coordinated by ATHENA Research Center, with Dr. Alexander Kriebitz serving as lead representative and coordinator of the work package dedicated to ethics.
The Third Voice x Bayreuth: German premiere of “Die dritte Stimme”
We are delighted to announce a new collaboration that marks the beginning of the next chapter of the MoralPLai Project. Together with the University of Bayreuth, Opferhilfe Oberfranken e.V. and Naturbühne Trebgast, the research-based theater play "The Third Voice" will be adapted into German and presented under the title "Die dritte Stimme".
