In April 2023, the IEAI signed a Letter of Intent with TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH. The letter formalized our collective goal to promote research and exchange on the topics of AI ethics in connected healthcare ecosystem. The research project focuses in-depth gap-analysis of current cybersecurity regulations and standards that govern medical device manufacturing, an particularly as it relates to innovation in healthcare.
TÜV SÜD, founded in 1866, had an ambitious vision to protect people, property and the environment from technical risks. Their goal is to inspire trust in technology and enable progress by managing technical risk and facilitating change.
