Earlier this month, our Director Prof. Dr. Lütge, Executive Director Caitlin Corrigan, and Research Associates Alexander Kriebitz and Auxane Boch attended the 2nd edition of the World AI Cannes Festival in France. With more than 10,000 participants, and 7 thematic zones, we had the chance to learn about the latest evolution in the AI industry. The team presented the progress on three of the IEAI’s current projects, MELISSA – Mobile Artificial Intelligence Solution for Diabetes Adaptive Care, The Potential for AI in the Extractive Industries to Promote Multi-objective Optimization and Towards an Accountability Framework for AI Systems, for the attendees. With this, they also exchanged interesting conversations with stakeholders from business, academia and NGOs working on responsible use of AI. We are looking forward to build upon these connections and hopefully exploring new projects and ideas for collaboration.
