From the 20th to the 22 of July, 2022 the 7th World Congress of the International Society of Business Economics and Ethics (ISBEE) took place in Bilbao.
On site, Franziska Poszler presented the working paper “Risk management at the center of ethics: The applicability of traditional ethical theories and how to advance the development of an ethical vehicle” (co-authored by Maximilian Geißlinger, Johannes Betz and Christoph Lütge).

The paper aims at providing an integrative review of the autonomous driving ethics literature. Based on this review, the authors highlight advantages and disadvantages of each traditional ethical and practical theory in regard to autonomous driving and subsequently advocate for the adoption of risk management as a key feature in the endeavor of translating ethics into an algorithm.
