On-Site IEAI Event: Global Insights on AI Governance
December 12, 2022 – 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Continuing with our focus in December on AI governance, the IEAI will follow up on our virtual talk with Dragoș Tudorache by hosting an in-person panel discussion looking at Global Insights on AI Governance.
What does or should AI governance look like in Latin America, the US, Europe or Africa? And what are the challenges to creating global approaches to AI governance that incorporate cultural distinctions and diversity in values and priorities?
Moderated by the Dean of the TUM School of Social Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Urs Gasser, we will hear from three researchers working in this space in Nigeria, the US and Colombia.
This event will take place December 12th, 2022, in person at Hochschule für Politik, Richard-Wagner-Straße 1, 80333 Munich, Room B.158 (TUM Think Tank). Please join us to take part in this conversation!
We are delighted to announce the following speakers:
- Laetitia Onyejegbu – University of Port-Harcourt
- Elisabeth Sylvan – Berkman Klein Center
- Armando Guio Español – Berkman Klein Center
- Urs Gasser (moderator) – Technical University Munich
