We are delighted to share an update about our upcoming Responsible AI Forum (TRAIF 2023). We have decided to relocate the event from the TUM Asia Campus to our TUM Main Campus in Munich, Germany, a decision that will unlock a multitude of fresh possibilities and opportunities for all participants. The conference will take place from September 13-15, 2023.
On the 4th of May, IEAI researchers Auxanne Boch, Ellen Homa, and Maria Pokholkova hosted the System of AI Accountability in Financial Services Workshop as part of their current project with Fujitsu Global at the TUM Think Tank.
On the 18th of April, Livia Schaeffer Nonose and Sophie Naue from UNITAC, the United Nations Innovation Technology Accelerator for Cities, conducted an exciting presentation on Digital Human Rights and AI in People.
From the 19th till the 21st of April, IEAI researcher and Ph.D. student Franziska Poszler attended the "2023 Forum on Philosophy, Engineering & Technology" conference at TU Delft in the Netherlands, which focused on value change in technology and engineering.
On the 15th of April, the postdoctoral researchers Dr. Catarina Fontes and Dr. Christelle Al Haddad, working on the TUM IEAI Project Ethics for the Smart City, had the chance to collect feedback from other researchers and experts on their methodology to design a public opinion survey as an inclusive public engagement tool.

In April 2023, the IEAI signed a Letter of Intent with TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH.
On the 14th and 15th of April, the Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (IEAI) at the Technical University of Munich and the Tutzing Akademie für Politische Bildung held a co-created multidisciplinary conference discussing AI Governance: Challenges and Opportunities for the Public Sector.
